Amy is one of very few therapists in the South West qualified in both ScarWork (Sharon Wheeler) and Caesarean Scar Therapy (Hannah Poulton). She also teaches scar therapy to other practitioners for Restore Scar Therapy. If your caesarean (or other abdominal) scar still feels tight, numb, pulls when you move, or you feel a sense of disconnect to it, she is the person for you.
She holds a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning from St Mary’s University, and brings that strength background — alongside Pilates principles drawn from her APPI training — into how she rebuilds postnatal bodies. Amy’s care blends gentle hands-on scar work with graded movement, sports and pregnancy massage, and personal training. Women value her holistic and adaptable approach — whether she’s supporting a brand-new mum or a woman keen to build strength during and after menopause.
Amy is a Sport Rehabilitator registered with the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT, reg. REH001189). Her training combines specialist scar therapy (ScarWork, Caesarean Scar Therapy, IASTM), advanced postnatal and pre/postnatal Pilates qualifications, and a Master’s in Strength and Conditioning.
